Cancellation Policy

Welcome to our official cancellation policy page. Thank you for your trust — we aim to provide you with complete clarity regarding the terms for modifying or cancelling a reservation.

Important reminder

Our accommodations are often booked well in advance, especially for weekends and holidays. When you make a reservation, you’re securing a specific unit for specific dates, preventing others from booking that same time slot. This is why our cancellation policy is firm — it’s designed to protect both serious guests and our small team.

General Cancellation Policy

Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival:

 

  • 90% refund of the total amount.

  • A 10% administrative fee is retained.

 

Cancellation between 15 and 30 days before arrival:

 

  • 50% refund of the total amount.

 

Cancellation 14 days or less before arrival:

 

  • No refund possible.

 

24-Hour Grace Period:

 

A full (100%) refund is offered if the cancellation is made within 24 hours of booking, provided that the stay is scheduled to begin more than 7 days later.

 

Changing Your Dates:

 

A date change is possible at no charge up to 30 days before arrival, subject to availability.

 

Any request for changes within 30 days is considered a cancellation, based on the above conditions.

 

If the new dates are priced higher or lower, the price difference will be applied to the modified reservation.

Example of Calculation

For a two-night reservation at $250 per night:

 

  • The base rate is $250 × 2 = $500

  • Applicable taxes (GST 5%, QST 9.975%, lodging tax 3.5%) total 18.475%, or $92.38

  • The total amount paid is therefore $592.38

 

In case of cancellation:

 

  • If you cancel within 24 hours of booking (and more than 7 days before arrival), you will receive a full refund of $592.38

  • If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, you will receive a 90% refund, or $533.14

  • If you cancel between 15 and 30 days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund, or $296.19

  • If you cancel less than 15 days before arrival, no refund can be issued.

Exceptions and special situations

Certain exceptional circumstances may be covered by our Force Majeure Policy. It applies only in specific cases such as government-issued travel bans or major natural disasters.

 

👉 Personal illness, work obligations, cancelled events, or transportation issues are not covered by this policy.

How to request a cancellation or modification

To avoid delays, please send any cancellation or modification request using one of the following methods (in order of preference):

Reply to the confirmation email of your booking

→ This email already contains all the necessary details for us to identify your file and process your request quickly.

Reply to the text message (SMS) you received when booking

→ This message is linked to your reservation in our system and allows for efficient handling.

Use the form on our contact page

→ This form will ask you to manually enter all the information needed to identify your stay.

 

 No request can be processed after the scheduled arrival date.

It is therefore essential to contact us before that date to be eligible for a modification or refund under our policy.
