Hébergement Les Pieds Sur Terre respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information entrusted to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it may be used and shared, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information when you visit our website, make a reservation, contact us or stay at our property:

  • Your name, address, email address and telephone number;

  • Reservation details, including stay dates, selected accommodation, number of guests and requested options;

  • Payment and transaction information processed through our reservation and payment providers;

  • Messages, emails, call recordings, voicemail messages and transcripts of communications with our team or virtual assistant;

We collect only the information reasonably required to process reservations, provide guest services, communicate with customers, protect our property and improve our services.

2. How We Use Personal Information

Personal information may be used to:

  • Process and manage reservations and payments;

  • Respond to questions and customer service requests;

  • Provide requested information by email, telephone or text message;

  • Follow up on incidents, complaints or maintenance issues;

  • Improve our accommodations, communications and guest experience;

We do not send unsolicited mass-marketing text messages.

4. No Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

We do not share or sell consumer personal information, including phone numbers and mobile information, to third parties or affiliates for marketing, promotional or lead-generation purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

5. Service Providers and Other Disclosures

We may use trusted service providers to operate our website, reservation system, payment processing, guest communications, telephone services and other business systems.

These providers may process personal information only as necessary to perform services on our behalf. They are not authorized to use this information for their own marketing, promotional or lead-generation purposes.

Personal information may also be disclosed when required by law, to respond to a valid legal request, to protect the safety or rights of our guests and staff, or to investigate suspected fraud or unlawful activity.

Some service providers may process information outside Quebec or Canada, where different privacy laws may apply.

6. Call Recordings and Virtual Assistants

Telephone calls may be recorded and transcribed for customer service, training, quality control and follow-up purposes. Some communications may initially be handled by a virtual assistant.

Call recordings and transcripts are accessible only to authorized personnel and service providers who require them to perform their duties.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, meet legal or accounting requirements and resolve customer service matters.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. However, no electronic system or method of transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Cookies and Website Information

Our website and service providers may use essential cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, understand its use and support reservation functions.
